How to Request Data Deletion
If you would like to delete your personal data from Cargo Force, please follow these steps:
1. Submit Your Request
Send an email to:
Email: privacy@cargoforce.com
Subject: Data Deletion Request
2. Include This Information
- Your full name
- Email address associated with your account
- Any booking references or account numbers
- Specific data you want deleted (optional - we can delete all)
3. What Gets Deleted
We will delete:
- Personal identification information (name, email, phone)
- Booking history and shipment details
- Communication preferences and consent records
- Website analytics and tracking data
- Any uploaded documents or files
4. What We Keep
For legal and regulatory compliance, we must retain:
- Financial records (invoices, payments) - retained for 7 years as required by UK tax law
- Shipping manifests and customs declarations - retained for 7 years as required by HMRC
- Anonymized analytics data (no personally identifiable information)
5. Processing Timeline
We process all deletion requests within 30 days of receiving your request. You will receive an email confirmation once your data has been deleted.
6. Facebook/Meta App Data
If you connected your Cargo Force account with Facebook/Meta and want to delete that data:
- Send the deletion request email as described above
- We will delete all data associated with your Facebook account
- This includes any information shared via Facebook Login
- Your Facebook profile itself is NOT deleted (only Cargo Force data)
