Advertising measurement with Google

We use Google Ads to advertise our services. To measure whether our advertising works, we share limited data with Google in the following ways, only where you have accepted advertising cookies or otherwise consented to marketing:

  • Enhanced conversions: when you submit an enquiry, quote or booking form, the email address and phone number you enter are converted into a one-way hash (SHA-256) in your browser and sent to Google. Google uses the hash only to recognise whether you had seen or clicked one of our adverts. We never send your email address or phone number in readable form.
  • Offline conversions: when a booking is paid, we send Google the advertising click identifier attached to that booking, the date and the amount paid, and in some cases the hashed phone number of the sender, so that we can see which adverts led to real shipments.
  • Customer match: we may upload hashed email addresses and phone numbers of our customers to Google so that we can show relevant adverts to existing customers, or avoid showing them adverts they no longer need.

Google processes this data under its own privacy policy and its advertising data processing terms. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings on this website or by contacting us at customerservice@cargoforce.com, and we will stop sharing your data in this way from that point.
