How Sea Freight Weight Works
Same fair formula as air freight — at a lower per-kg rate
The Formula
Chargeable Weight = MAX(Actual, Volumetric)
Volumetric weight = (L × W × H in cm) ÷ 5000. You are charged on whichever is higher, the same way air freight is calculated. At £2.99/kg, that's about 25% cheaper per kg than air on shipments over 100 kg.

A deposit of £50 minimum, or £10 per box for more than five boxes (whichever is higher), is required before pickup is scheduled and deducted from the final invoice.
